When it comes to men's suits, no expensive thread count or designer label can redeem a garment that does not fit well. An investment in quality tailoring to get the shoulders, sleeves, hems, body and waist just right can make almost any suit look professional and handsome. The same goes for casual clothes, formal attire, and event or evening wear. Whether it is a pair of khakis or your wedding tuxedo, your work and business attire, that special personal or business event, your daily wear, or what you like to wear when you are ready to kick back and enjoy your time with coworkers, friends, and family, we are here to make it your own and specifically tailored to your body.
When you bring items in for alteration, we encourage you to please bring or wear whatever else you plan to wear with it. For instance, we will cuff or hem your pants differently depending on what type of shoes you plan to wear beneath them, and whether you will support them with suspenders or a belt. Similarly, if you bring a jacket in to have the sleeve length adjusted, please wear a long-sleeved dress shirt, so that we can properly judge the amount of cuff the finished product will show. A properly tailored blazer or suit jacket displays 3/8-5/8 of an inch of shirt cuff when standing.
We will consult with you before and after to make certain you have a proper fit based on current trends, time-proven classic fashion/fit, and/or to your personal preferences. We work with your budget and will perform as little or as much work necessary to make your clothes fit you best and have you feel excited to wear them as soon as the next opportunity arrives or the next event you plan to attend.
